Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking shelves and arranging merchandise effectively.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and promote special offers.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on features and benefits.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and processing returns.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a high standard of store presentation.
• Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments and conducting stock checks.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with customers and team members.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
• Experience with cash handling procedures is preferred.
• Ability to sell products through persuasive techniques while maintaining integrity.
• Knowledge of product demonstrations to showcase features effectively.
• Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required; training will be provided.
