Full Job Description
The Floor Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the store and the supervision of employees. This position requires a detailed and analytical approach to management that includes efficient scheduling, problem-solving, and customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze store performance to maximize sales and profits
- Ensure that store standards are upheld in areas such as customer service, store cleanliness, and product display
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of store staff
- Ensure that store policies and procedures are communicated and enforced
- Address customer complaints and resolve any issues
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback
- Enforce safety procedures and maintain security systems
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Able to motivate and lead a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and retail software programs
